Adams and Adams Visit UNIZULU law students

The Faculty of Commerce, Admiration, and Law, in cooperation with Adams and Adams, recently held an upskilling session for its law students.

Professor Tholaine Matadi, the Head of the law department, welcomed everyone to the workshop and expressed gratitude to Adams and Adams Law Firm for selecting the University of Zululand (UNIZULU ) “Today’s occasion holds a particular significance for our level two students, as it not only offers a platform for learning and engagement but also presents exciting opportunities for professional growth and development”, expressed  Prof  Matadi.

Adams & Adams is an internationally recognised and leading African law firm that specialises in providing intellectual property and commercial services. Adams and Adams did not only bring expertise and insights of legal practise, but they also extended an invitation to UNIZULU level 2 students to consider a future within their esteemed firm. This invitation presents an opportunity for UNIZULU law students to immerse themselves in the world of legal practise, to gain firsthand experience and develop their skills necessary for success in the law industry.

Godfrey Budeli, a partner at Adams and Admas presented an insightful presentation on trademark and copy litigation with a particular focus on anti-counterfeiting. Budeli’s expertise and passion for his field were evidence throughout his remarks, providing a wealth of knowledge and practical insights into crucial aspects of legal practice.

The visit also included a UNIZULU alumni who is now a candidate attorney  at Adams and Adams and Zola Williams a professional development manager at Adams and Adams.
