The University of Zululand through the Faculty of Education (FEDU) hosted Post-Graduate Research Workshop: MADOC Week at Richards Bay campus from 8-12 December 2024. The workshop was held with the intention of equipping the post graduate students with research skills. It was attended by Professor Sithabile Ntombela, Dean of FEDU, post graduate supervisors, participants from various regions including Gauteng, Eswatini and KwaZulu Natal. The discussion highlighted the following significance of the background of the study, common mistakes to avoid and proper referencing style.
According to Prof Hlengiwe Mhlongo, “Let us be professional and do things the correct way, commit to your research. You do not have holidays if you still wear a black gown. Seat on you work and push.”
