UNIZULU’s 2024 Registration Commences

UNIZULU’s 2024 Registration Commences

The University of Zululand’s (UNIZULU) 2024 registration period commenced on Monday, 29 January.

First-time entering prospective students, the first cohort to register this year, will officialise their ties with UNIZULU between Monday and Friday, 2 February. During this time, they will register strictly online via the University’s iEnabler platform.

The University has a total of 4 200 in available spaces for first-time entering students across the various academic programmes offered in its four faculties: Faculty of Education; Faculty of Commerce, Administration and Law; Faculty of Science, Agriculture and Engineering; and Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. The qualifying candidates were selected from just over 100 000 hopefuls who had applied for programmes offered in both the KwaDlangezwa and Richards Bay campuses.

Courses that received high volumes of applications for the 2024 intake, according to the Admissions Department, were:

  • B Nursing Science
  • Dip Logistics Management
  • Bachelor of Education in Foundation Phase Teaching
  • Bachelor of Education in Intermediate Phase Teaching: Languages and Humanities
  • B Laws
  • B Social Work
  • Diploma in Public Relations Management
  • Diploma in Media Studies
  • Bachelor of Education in Senior & FET Phase Teaching (Humanities and Social Science Education- HSSE)
  • B A Correctional Studies
  • Bachelor of Education in Intermediate Phase Teaching: Languages, Maths, Natural Science &
  • Technology
  • BA in Drama, Theatre and Performance

The registration period for returning undergraduate students will begin on Monday, 5 February and end on Friday, 9 February. Honours and master’s course work students will also register during this week.

Master’s and doctoral students will, however, register from 5 February until Friday, 31 May.

The University has scheduled to begin lectures on Monday, 12 February 2024.
