Nevada Cloud and Human Movement Science in partnership

Under the leadership of Dr. Millard and Dr. Breukelman, the Human Movement Science department has established a cutting-edge Visio-spatial Intelligence (VSI) lab in recent years. This state-of-the-art facility is equipped with advanced technology including the Batak Pro, Fit Lights, and the Tobii Eye Tracker Glasses 3. Since its inception, the VSI lab has facilitated the completion of two PhD students and a MSc student. Furthermore, it has significantly contributed to the department’s and University’s international profile by generating multiple publications in globally recognized journals.

A crucial component of the lab’s success is the Spectrum eye care software, generously sponsored by Nevada Cloud over the past six years. This software enables us to conduct optometric tests such as visual acuity and depth perception with ease and precision within the confines of our lab. Its user-friendly interface and accuracy have greatly enhanced our research capabilities. We extend our gratitude to Nevada Cloud and its esteemed CEO, Russell Meyer-Wilson, for their support.
