The University of Zululand (UNIZULU) was lauded for its impressive marketing and communication skills at the recent Marketing, Advancement and Communication in Education (MACE) Excellence Awards, during which it scooped a total of six awards.

The institution received three bronze awards, one silver award as well as two gold awards. Adding to its victory, UNIZULU was the top winner among all higher education institutions in KwaZulu-Natal.

MACE fulfills a leadership role in the higher education, TVET and private education sectors within Southern Africa by adding value to practitioners in marketing, communication and advancement. This is achieved through high quality development programmes, facilitating networking partnerships and transformation, as well as promoting best practices amongst these professions at its member institutions.
