The Office of the Registrar is responsible for ensuring compliance with the provisions of the Higher Education Act, Act 101 of 1997 as amended.
As a member of the University Executive, the Registrar is the line manager for the Enrolment Management, Student Administration, Policy Development and Governance.
The Office of the Registrar also provides secretariat services related to the meetings of the University Executive as well as the University Council and the various statutory bodies and committees.
