Prof Rob Baum


Prof BeeshamRob Baum’s publications include articles and chapters on traumatic memory and genocide, consciousness and its embodiment, critical race/gender theory and the phenomenology of absence (the subject of her book Female Absence). She is conducting studies of spiritual movement and the somatization of trauma. She has taught a range of subjects from African dance ethnology and Women’s Studies to dramatic and performance theory. Rob has directed a theatre for people with cognitive and physical disabilities, and has worked in other clinical populations as a dance/movement therapist.
