Mission Statement
Our mission is to serve the teaching, learning and research functions of the University of Zululand, as well as the needs of the community in its immediate vicinity who can benefit from the library without prejudicing the privileges of its primary clientele. Our Role

To augment the collection of the University Library by acquiring, preserving and making available relevant information resources. To offer instruction to clients in the use of the library resources in order to equip them with information literacy skills for life-long learning. To maintain and provide quality services which promote the instructional, research and extension functions of the University.

Opening Hours
The library is open during the following hours:
MONDAY - FRIDAY 8H30 - 23H00
SATURDAY - 8H00 -18H00
(CLOSED ON SUNDAYS AND PUBLIC HOLIDAYS)

During vacations the library is open as follows:
MONDAY - THURSDAY - 8H30 to 16H00
FRIDAY - 8H30 to 14h45
WEEK-ENDS - CLOSED
PUBLIC HOLIDAYS - CLOSED
