Judge tells law students to set good example

UNIZULU student Chapter of the Black Lawyers Association (BLA) recently hosted Durban High Court Judge, Justice Ntsikelelo Poswa.

The idea was to allow him the opportunity to give the students a taste of the real world and with his experience help shape their future.

Poswa said it was important that South Africa produced lawyers of a high standard and UNIZULU was doing that.

He said the government believed in mentoring young lawyers and they should set a good example by obeying the law. He also encouraged law students to understand the country’s historical and political background as well as the struggle by black people over the years.
