Dr Dumisani Mncube

Dr Dumisani Mncube was born in 1974 in Nqutu in an area know as Mvunyane. On matriculating he enrolled at UNIZULU and in 1999 obtained a BSc degree, majoring in Maths and Science. In the year2000 he obtained an Honours degree. Not easily satisfied with his qualifications, Dr Mncube continued to study and among his achievements was a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). Dr Mncube furthered his in environmental studies at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg and acquired a master’s degree. In 2014, Dr Mncube graduated with a PHD at his alma mater, UNIZULU. His study focused on Curricular Studies.

Dr Mncube is a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Education at UNIZULU and he has authored and co-authored a string of publications in peer reviewed journals. Dr Mncube feels that it is the endless possibilities and opportunities that UNIZULU has given him from his student days. Through his work Dr Mncube has travelled widely and met with colleagues with a similar interest to engage and exchange ideas in his chosen field. Dr Mncube is a proud alumnus who believes that it is the grounding that he got at UNIZULU that has made him to be humble in spite his academic achievement. UNIZULU is indeed very proud of Dr Mncube.
