CHEMISTRY AND MATHEMATICS

Purpose of the Programme

The Chemistry with Mathematics BSc offers the opportunity to gain a fundamental understanding of the origins of chemical behaviour and mathematics. The chemistry content follows that of the single-subject Chemistry programme. Full range of chemistry core components, together with relevant optional modules in chemistry will be covered

The scope of employment for the program include Analytical Chemist, Chemical engineer, Healthcare scientist, Clinical Biochemistry, Forensic scientist, Pharmacologist, Research scientist (physical sciences) and Toxicologist.

Entrepreneurial opportunities

There are lot of opportunities including science writer and to run an engineering company

Vertical articulation for further / higher degree studies where applicable

After completing the degree a student has an opportunity to pursue post graduate either in Chemistry or Maths up PhD.
